On 21 July 2026, the office of the local online media outlet Inform.zp.ua in Zaporizhzhia in a Russian attack using guided aerial bombs.
Inform.zp.ua editor-in-chief Erik Brynza said that Russian forces used three guided aerial bombs during the morning attack. One bomb fell near a residential high-rise, while two others struck warehouses around 300 metres from the newsroom.
According to Brynza, the blast shook the office, blew out window grilles and caused parts of the ceiling to collapse in some rooms. He said all staff members were alive and unharmed, but were shocked by the attack.
The blast wave also damaged cars in the parking area near the media outlet鈥檚 office. Journalists found numerous fragments from an aerial bomb on the territory near the newsroom.
The Russian attack on Zaporizhzhia on 21 July killed three people and injured 13 others. IMI noted that this was not the first time Inform.zp.ua鈥檚 office had been damaged by Russian attacks: in March 2025, the premises were also damaged by a blast wave following a Russian drone attack on Zaporizhzhia.
