We are also pleased to welcome the following Board members who were re-elected or whose appointment was confirmed:

- Amelia Newcomb, Former Managing Editor (retired), Christian Science Monitor, U.S.

The election took place at the IPI General Assembly in October.
In addition, two Board members stepped down after their terms ended: Nobel Peace Prize laureate Maria Ressa of Rappler (Philippines), and Borja Echevarr铆a, managing editor of Spain鈥檚 El Pa铆s.
